Good Access is Good Business
About Us
Good Access is Good Business
This term comes from the Rocky Mountain ADA Center. The idea is simple; creating an accessible space will increase your business over all. An accessible business benefits:
• Parents or care takers of young children (particularly those with strollers)
• People with a disability
• Older people
• Delivery people
• Shoppers with heavy bags
• Every customer, particularly when it is busy

Disability Action Network
The Good Access is Good Business project was born from the Butte Disability Action Network. This active group, led by people with disabilities, wants to recognize businesses that are making accessibility a priority. They believe true accessibility never has a finish line, so they want to give credit to specific projects that increase accessibility and ADA compliance.
We now have Disability Action Networks in Butte, Helena and Bozeman that are carrying the project forward across the state. The Networks review nominations and vote to issue acknowledgements monthly.
